SARASOTA, FL (February 17, 2020) – Nathan Bailey assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of SouthTech in late 2019 as part of the company’s planned succession of founding partner, Paul Hoffman, who passed away in January. Mr. Bailey will also continue in his role as Chief Operating Officer.
Bailey, Hoffman, and Chief Technology Officer, Chad Goble had been working for the past 18 months with the rest of the company’s management team on a succession plan in anticipation of Hoffman’s planned retirement.
“This transition was planned,” shares Bailey. “Paul was a great mean who worked hard to establish a great company with a driven management team and a clear chain of command. We are in a position to grow SouthTech for years to come, and it is a credit to Paul’s leadership style.”
Bailey started working for SouthTech in 2007 and has held his current position of Chief Operating Office since 2014. In his role as CEO, Bailey is the leader of SouthTech’s management team and has taken on additional financial management and budgeting responsibilities for the business.
Prior to SouthTech, Bailey spent seven years working for Kerkering, Barberio & Co. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), and a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP). Bailey graduated from Bethel College in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Accounting.
